Bamboo terry cloth also called Bamboo terry
A useful, warm and soft item in our collection is the bamboo terry cloth.

The fabric is versatile and remains beautiful in the wash, shrinks approximately 5-8% (350gr/m2). See washing instructions below. The advantage of bamboo terry cloth is that it practically does not discolour in the sun, while cotton terry cloth does discolour, this fabric is colourfast, for example the covers of garden cushions or your lounge set or bath towels/beach towels.

The fabric is also super absorbent, so great as a bathrobe or towel or pestemal.

Ideal for, for example, a shawl, upholstery for the Maxi Cosi or stroller, play mat / play mat, washable diapers (some additional information about this below), washable baby wipes, washable sanitary towels, washable make-up pads... so there are plenty of options.

Bamboo textile is an ultra soft, high-quality fabric that is very suitable as an alternative to cotton. Bamboo is known for its antibacterial properties and absorbent fibers. It is used for durable fabrics for which cotton is now used. Of course, this fabric also has the Oekotex quality mark.

If you look at washable diapers, you will soon notice that they come in different materials. A distinction is made between absorbent materials and water-repellent/waterproof materials. The absorbent materials (such as bamboo terry cloth) are incorporated into the actual diaper area or as a loose insert (which absorbs urine and feces) and the waterproof materials (PUL) are on the outside to protect the clothing against leakage.
