Pointelle Jersey – fine ajour knit
Pointelle jersey, also known as ajour knit, is a soft and flexible fabric with a delicate openwork pattern. Within this category you will find styles with a subtle mini texture as well as striped variations.
The fabric has a light and airy look and feels comfortable against the skin. Thanks to its stretch in both directions, it keeps its shape well and is easy to sew.
As this fabric is supplied by different brands, the appearance and structure may vary slightly per style.
Pointelle jersey is very suitable for:
wrap tops, cardigans, baby suits and onesies. It is also a great choice for swaddles and (children’s) underwear thanks to its soft and breathable structure.
